Conor Oberst
An incredibly prolific artist, Conor Oberst has been making records since his early teenage years. In the late ‘90s, he really hit his stride with the project Bright Eyes. Under this moniker, Oberst shaped the course of indie rock, collaborating with a long roster of musicians, incorporating a wide range of instruments and releasing many albums, including Lifted or the Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground, which Rolling Stone called one of the best albums of 2002. Over the years, Oberst added his talents to many other bands, as well, including Commander Venus, Monsters of Folk, Park Ave., and Desaparecidos. In 2008, Oberst released Conor Oberst, which officially marked the start of another exciting phase of his many-headed career. As a solo artist, Oberst maintains an active tour schedule, charming audiences with his captivating songwriting and quavering, now-classic voice.
